Remembering Guruji

August 9-11, 2019

The event, Remembering Guruji, is scheduled for August 9-10-11.

Various projects are underway at the ashram would be completed by that date. The projects underway include:

  • Installation of Namokar Mantra and Guruji’s image in marble in Main Temple;
  • Installation of a memorial on the west side of the Main Temple in honor of Guruji, his historic travel to the United States and the making of Siddhachalam;
  • New main entrance to Ahimsa Bhavan and expansion and remodeling of Gautam Labhdi Bhandaar;
  • Remodeling of Guruji’s temple in Ahimsa Bhavan;
  • Expansion of space west of the Tonk of Bhagwaan Mahavira Swami for better event-planning and contain run-off from rains; and
  • Planting of about 200 trees to make up for critical depletion of forest cover.

The ashram has since completed the remodeling of the Old Temple, the development of assembly and event spaces around the Tonk of Bhagwaan Parsvnath and the Bhomiya Baba’s Grah. It has also completed major maintenance of cabins for the stay of yatris.

Please mark your calendars for the important dates of August 9-10-11 when we will commence dhwajarohan of Shikharji at Siddhachalam!!
