His Holiness Acharya Sushil Kumarji (Guruji) was the first Jain monk to travel outside India by mechanical means to bring the message of the Arihants to a wider world. This is cosidered one of the most significant events in modern Jainism.

Guruji founded Siddhachalam (reverentially, Shri Siddhachalam Jain Tirth) is a place of pilgrimage for Jains from all over the world. Siddhachalam is owned and managed by International Mahavira Jain Mission, a religious public charity in special consultative status with the United Nations.
