Volunteerism fosters a sense of community and brings unexpected joys. If you want something done better at the ashram, volunteer – be the change you want to see.

Siddhachalam is managed by volunteers. There are many ways to volunteer:

  • Join our environmental initiatives: between 2008 and 2013, Siddhachalam planted more than 500 trees, opened 11 nature and meditation trails, and created three permanent deer and bird feed stations that serve food and water round the year. Join the movement to maintain Siddhachalam as a nature and animal preserve;
  • Join our education initiatives: in 2008, Siddhachalam established a library of out-of-print and new books. Help maintain the library. Siddhachalam periodically holds educational camps and scholars’ conferences – help organize them;
  • Join in making and serving Guru prasad: Per Guruji’s instructions, every day since mid-1980s, Siddhachalam has joyfully served food to all without charge. You can support this fine tradition by volunteering time in the kitchen. Volunteering fosters a sense of community, makes fresh foods, and brings unexpected joys;
  • Help maintain our temples: Siddhachalam temples are a testimony to Guruji’s grand vision of temples that are places to pay homage to our highest aspirations of becoming like a siddha. They are open to all: be one a Swetambar, Digambar, Sthanakvasi, or any person with or without faith. Such temples are rare to find. Help maintain this precious and unique place.
