Deepawali Celebrations: Shobha-Yatra, Puja and Nirvaan Laddu

We will start a joyous Siddhachalam tradition this Deepawali – the 2,540th Nirvana Diwas of Bhagwaan Mahavira.

On Sunday, November 3, we will all come together to perform a Shobha-yatra starting at the Tonk of Bhagwaan Mahavira and ending at the Tonk of Ganadhar Shri Gautam Swami.  This will be in addition to pujas and jaap.

November 3, Sunday

10.30 am

Perform Bhagwaan Mahavira Sankshipta Nirvan Kalayanak Puja and offer Nirvaan Ladu at Tonk #26 (Bhagwaan Mahavira) followed by lighting of many auspicious diyas at the Tonk in especially-prepared float

11.00 am

Start of shobha yatra of rath carrying pratimajis of Bhagwaan Mahavira and Gautam Swami.  The rath yatra will start at Tonk #26 (Bhagwaan Mahavira Swami) near the main temple, pass by Ahimsa Bhawan with dance, celebration and songs and reach Tonk #1 (Shri Gautam Swami)

Puja participants can take laabh for performing pujas at both Tonks, Aarti and lighting of diyas by registering at the desk before the commencement of Rath Yatra

Come, join us in lighting the diyas and celebrating Deepawali! Later, in the afternoon, the pratimaji of Guruji in Tapasya Sthal will be ceremonially wrapped for the winters
