About Siddhachalam

GurujiSiddhachalam is a Jain ashram and teerth located in an idyllic setting in rural north-western New Jersey on 120 acres of hilly terrain. It is managed by International Mahavira Jain Mission, an independent, religious public charity registered as a non-governmental organization at the United Nations.

Siddhachalam was founded in 1983 by the Jain saint Acharya Sushil Kumarji. It was here that Guruji, as he was lovingly called, perfected the secret science of sound behind the Navkaar Mantra. The mantra is considered by Jains to be the most auspicious of all mantras. It was also here that he practiced and taught the Jain form of yoga called Arhum Yoga. Guruji left his human body in April, 1994. There is no successor to Guruji.

SHIKHARJI AT SIDDHACHALAM PRATISHTHA MAHOTSAV
August 11-12, 2012

With Acharya Sushil Kumarji as our guide and inspiration, the blessings of more than 151 acharyas, gacchadhipatis, upadhayas and other pujya maharaj sahebs, and your continuing support and encouragement, we shall solemnly perform pratishtha of Shikharji at Siddhachalam in the second weekend of August, 2012: on Saturday, August 11 and Sunday August 12.

Vinamr Aamantran

On behalf of the board of trustees, officers, other volunteers and staff of Siddhachalam, it is my privilege to respectfully invite you to this grand occasion. Please mark your calendar to be at Siddhachalam during those two days with your friends and family. Formal invitation will follow.

Shilanyas and Pratishtha of Bhagwaan Parasvnath's Tonk

The only Tonk whose shilanyas remains to be performed is that of Bhagwaan Parasvnath. I am privileged to further announce that it is proposed to be performed in early summer 2012, so that pratishtha of all Tonks is performed in August 2012.
Indeed, pratishtha of Bhagwaan Parasvnath's Tonk will be a major event during the August 2012 Pratishtha Mahotsav. Guruji wanted Siddhachalam to be everyone's teerth. With that as our guidance, the pratishtha of Bhagwaan Parasvnath's Tonk will be a "samuhik pratishtha" involving as many of us as reasonably possible.
Details on how you and yours can participate in shilanyas and pratishtha of Bhagwaan Parasvnath's Tonk will follow shortly.

Congratulations

Congratulations to all for helping bring Shikharji darshan experience to America and make the world's first, to-scale, replication of our most sacred place of pilgrimage.

Jaipat Singh Jain
Vice-Chairman and President
